Blanc could impart all his knowledge and finally turn Slabhead into a defender worthy of that elevated price tag.
Wow- I actually managed to type that with a straight face.

This is fucked up. Ruined my Sunday.
Not really, they still have money are still worth a fuck of a lot and buy players like a kid buying candy, that has nothing to do with what I remember of us in the 90’s!
Stop giving them good ideas, though Emery might be funny.
They’re beyond a Europa League level manager and probably should be looking at a relegation specialist. Bruce is available, and as a former captain, has the Manure DNA they so love to harp on about
Yeah that’s true on the money part, we were left behind in multiple aspects in that period. But on the decisions and football part, it’s pretty much the same. Same issues, apart from the odd cup success here and there.
Cruel buggers. Sacking a bloke just before Christmas.
Gud ebening.
It’s official he is gone.
Well fuck Watford anyway.
A dark day
Football just lost a bit of its soul
Well you could have care more about United atleast.
Yeah he was very good from our perspective, but any wins and the arrogance and typical United smugness would all have reappeared.
I must have missed the bit where a old whysky guzzling narcisist ran the whole whole operation into the ground.
Perhaps as a fans experience it might smell the same but it really was completely different in sooo many ways.
I think your just spouting easy ‘arguements’ without thinking about what your proposing. Yes we made errors on the management front (culminating in Hodgson) and made some duff purchases but it’s just nowhere near the same league as Manure are at. On paper they still have good players we at times had decent players and of course Stevie.
Of course it doesn’t really matter but I think getting a concensus on ‘our’ history and getting it about right is fairly important for future generations.
I’m wearing a black armband. Today is one of the saddest days in Liverpool’s history.
It’s a sad day for football
Change the thread name, No ole at the wheel’
I wasn’t following in 90’s, but it seems to me like there is a link with continuous bad decisions, living in the past, etc. Of course they have more money now than we had at the time.
