The Manchester United Thread: That's It. That's the Joke (Part 1)

A twitter statement from Rashford, a youtube clickbait title.

So I check it out, and it’s much ado about nothing.

Agree. Same as that Foden video from the boxing. Muppets the lot of them. Have they no sense of shame?

Its more about rashford denying that he gave the middle finger. Wouldnt have minded if he had said that he had done that in the heat of the moment because the cunt deserved it.

That goes for both sides.

Nothing they said early on was enough for him to justify his reaction - but them crying like little kids is also pretty pathetic

Foden didn’t do much wrong and neither did Rashford.

Football fans shouldn’t have carte blanche to shout abuse at footballers when they see them out and about. Cunts behaviour.

The Foden difference was his entourage were safely ensconced in a box etc behind secure door when his mother decided to come out to ‘takr the fight to the fans’ and started throwing slaps around closely followed by him and others in his entourage. Totally uncalled for; notwithstanding the fans behaviour is also awful. Rashford just made a little gesture from a distance.

Football fans generally, think they can dish out whatever abuse they like and get away with it. They don’t like it when a player gives them some back.

Putting all tribalism and rivalry to one side temporarily, this is another despicable act of criminality against the property and family life of a high profile target. Let’s hope those kids can get back to a feeling of safety in their lives quickly.

I didn’t realise you’d posted this already. The source I used focussed on his kids being potentially affected.

That’s nasty.

As for Rashford I don’t see an issue with his response, heat of the moment and shame Simone didn’t give them a hand shuffle action as they threw crap at him.

Man Utd fans were deplorable towards Simeone I couldn’t give a shit about fans who do that and without provocation as well.

For Utd’s owners, this must be becoming a concern. Despite being unhappy with affairs at the club the fans have largely been placcid - other than their reaction last season ahead of our game, and we can always expect a negative reaction towards us.

This all fannying about and being subjected to faux outrage and then having to pussyfoot around why and how and sorry etc… Fuck that shit. We’ve all shown the finger or thrown a punch or told someone to fuck off. I’ve literally just gave someone a rollicking for jumping in front of me in a queue about an hour ago. Heck, players are telling the officials to fuck off every game and nobody gives a toss. We don’t see Robbo grovelling on Insta justifying and apologizing about why he told Andy Madley to go forth and multiply, now do we?

Own the fucking shit, ‘I told a wee cunt to fuck off, asked him to come and say it to my face and gave him the bird when he didn’t. So fucking what?’

I dont understand the criticism of Rashford being entitled, when it’s based on the idea that paying for a ticket entitles you to totally debase the people you are there to watch and have them suck it up. There is nothing more entitled than thinking you can scream Cunt at a person and have no reaction or consequences for it.

A fair few seem to feel the right to scream abuse at a footballer is priced into the ticket they’ve paid for.

All the time I’ve been to Anfield I’ve never felt that urge even when we were shit against a Championship Wolves side.

If I did I would feel slightly embarrassed by it after but I guess I’m different. I’ve called the ref a cunt on tv but that’s in my own room.

Completely agree with the discussion regarding fuckwits who think a ticket entitles them to their pound of flesh.

What really gets my goat is player abuse coming from some fat cunt with a pint in each hand before starting his third pie (you can drink at the footy in Oz).

You’re fucking shit Player X!!! as he heads outside for a smoke on his crutches coz he lost his left foot to Type-2.

What thread is this again??

I love a pie, me….

Even 2 at times … and don’t forget the chips.
How anyone can shout abuse whilst eating a pie is beyond me, that’s why I don’t eat at matches.

They’re not coping too well with the Atletico loss and Arsenal now pulling away.
