I love those Van Gaal quotes. I don’t necessarily agree United are solely a commercial club and therefore not a football club, but reading between the lines, he’s saying ten Hag wants a project and United aren’t going to allow him that.
I’m impressed with ten Hag, but I couldn’t care less if he goes to United, because I agree with LVG. They won’t trust the process and he’ll get turned out before he even gets started.

Thing is they had four managers the fact Ole lucked out one season which granted him more time when it was blantantly obvious to most they weren’t good.
As I said before Moyes hadn’t done badly it’s just the points skewered the placings, a bit like when Klopp took over us and they kept bringing Rodgers figures up, it was obvious Klopp was building something and yet these comparisons which ironically stopped finally when he won the CL.
