The Owners - FSG

Elon would have the player’s playing 4 times a week

No. Elon Musk is an idiot who continually fails upward. The interest on his twitter loan alone is 1 billion dollars annually. Just the interest! HE hasn’t even come up with anything proprietary for Tesla. He bought the company after it was founded by someone else.

So no clean money at this end of the game

nope

Sorry for late reply. Was in a game, and then you know, 180 new posts or so to read, lol. Now when I post this, I have no idea how many I have to scroll up to read
But yes, someone leaked it and then it must come from FSG some how. The statement and pretty much all we have read tonight also pretty much confirms that it is accurate, so I don’t know what there is to debate. If you are right, fine. If I am right, fine. None of it matters when I think about it. It is out in the open now.

Yeah, I think I will stop reading this thread now until some new leak appears or important news paper story hits, because this thread is moving too fast, and it’s not the Ukraine war nor politics and mostly nothing new of relevance is posted.

Have fun guys.

Nothing has changed since.

If Disney came in, they’d fire Klopp, hire a one legged black lesbian trans dwarf and post every day that they hate all the male players.

And I’m one of the world’s biggest Disney fans.

Liverpool owner FSG tests water on value for a crown-jewel football brand

Mark Sweney

Premier League club’s American owner has started a process exploring whether to sell a minority stake in a deal that could be worth $7bn

Careful, your prejudices are showing.

If FSG do sell,

there is a small part of me that would like the new buyer(s) to be a mulit billionaire(s) who ploughs hundreds of millions into the club via dodgy sponsorships allowing us to outspend Man City, and build a mega successful team

just to noise those blue Mancs up

I think it’s far more likely that any potential buyer is not a petro-state. There’s only left that probably could buy us and that’s Dubai. City are owned by Abu Dhabi, PSG by Qatar and Newcastle by Saudi. I doubt if any of the smaller countries such as Bahrain would be interested, but of course I could be totally wrong.

Of course, Dubai had their chance and maybe they wouldn’t want to lose face by making a second attempt. But just statistically speaking there’s much more chance of any potential buyers being some consortium probably from the U.S., maybe fronted by some money bags owner of various American sporting entities. Similar to FSG themselves or the group that bought Chelsea.

Nothing lasts forever and I never thought FSG would be our owners in perpetuity. So long as we don’t become a sports-washing plaything, then I’m not too bothered which bunch of rich bastards buys us.

Starting to get flashbacks from 2010 :upside_down_face:pa-92759691(1).jpg.article-642

Dubai is UAE, same country as Abu Dhabi. you’re right, there are no ethically corrupt sugar-daddies left to destroy the PL.

Up the Kuwaiti Reds!

But honestly, how many billionaires out there you all think that became a billionaire by being ethical or are we saying there is evil and more evil? How about billionaires whose company make alot of money in the middle east markets, are these billionaires acceptable?
