Sure but periodic top upsvalso are needed of ready made 1st teamers…if one every 3 years we would be ok…instead of a flat energyless midfield.

Thiago signed in 2020 so we’re on schedule then
Ballmer’s experience with the NBA’s Clippers tells me that he wouldn’t hesitate to spend what it necessary to field a world class club. He’s exceedingly competitive.
They have typically been among the top spending sides during his tenure and are competitive with free agents, but this was also the case with the club he inherited so it’s difficult to see much of a Ballmer effect other than him not fucking it up our sucking money of it.
Being free spending has made them competitive, but the quality of their decision making on trades, acquisitions and coach’s has been mediocre at best.
A big improvement on want came before for the clippers, but no where near the level of success and stability Liverpool have at the moment.
My take on that then is to leave the professionals we have, running the club. Ballmer can come and be an enthusiastic sports lover, who writes the cheques.
Writing cheques!?!? Do you know how much paper is going to be wasted and the harm it will do to the environment. I will protest against an owner who does not care about the earth.
This is worrying, 2 of the tripod of success gone/going…
I don’t find this overly worrying, largely because the people moving into those posts (Ward and Hogan) have been under the tutelage of their predecessors and know the inner workings of the club already.
Further, Hogan lives in the UK, which is much preferred to key pillars of the club (Gordon) living in the US. Obviously, it’s not that big a deal in this day and age where people work given the joys of the internet and enhanced connectivity, however I also believe being in the same room as colleagues carries so much more value!
Is behind a paywall.
Its freely accessible.
Just click close on the pop up(top left corner)
Weird, wasn’t for me, but why would we (in the UK) have access, but you over the water not?!
I read a fair bit of the Globe and for me it’s a crap shoot. Sometimes its paywalled sometimes its not, and sometimes when it is I try again and find it isnt anymore
If this is a mark of the slap dash way Henry’s business run, then FSG out!
No, I get a popup that I either has to log in or become a member of the BG.
Only the North Sea …
They know it’s you
Try putting the link in
I disagree, Klopp name drops Gordon all the time with how happy he is with FSG.
Losing both Edwards and Gordon within 12 months is a huge loss for the company.
Hogan is in London, hardly “face to face” and started as a Salesman… Gordon is a huge brain who loves analytics.
No paywall! but lots of adverts…

Thanks but when I use that one it said redirecting …
and it still is
If Gordon is gone, that in my view means sale.
