Graham seemed to give notice earlier in the year, it seems Ward’s announcement has been short notice.
It really doesn’t surprise me that one cog goes all 3 go, maybe it’s something we needed to consider when Edwards chose to pack his bags.
It does feel like the FSG project is now winding down. The major concern I have is what happens this winter, as we need to make a signing.

Real shame. Joyce mentions Klopp having more say on transfers over the last 12 months. Maybe they are bringing him data on players and he is fixated on certain ones. The transfer team might simply be coming to the end of it’s shelf life.

Sadly we know very little and I don’t think the Journalists do eithier.
We don’t know what FSG are seeking to do and we don’t know what they have said to Ward, Graham’s decision seems to have been months ago rather than in the last day or so. FSG would have had to replace Graham, potentially the suggestions have not pleased Ward.
Alternatively if the sporting model is being relooked at this has impacted on Ward’s decision. I do think the sale or acquisition of a sizeable part of the club is far down the road and maybe the new guys want to switch focus hence Ward has gone.
Alternatively Edwards has a new role and wants to bring Ward in or even any new guys want Edwards back.
The clubs ownership needs to be sorted but more importantly for the here and now we need this medical lead to be appointed.
I wonder what Joyce has said is what prompted Ward to quit, let’s be honest they didn’t just dream it up in the last day or two when they found out about Ward.
