Nope, none of us know the better what was available. FSG is prudent with money but they have shown with a couple of players like VVD and Alisson to “overpay” what was deemed fair at that point of time when Klopp demanded so. We keep making it a one way ticket that Klopp has been forced to accept his lot no matter what. He was not forced to extend his contract recently. There is a budget but if Klopp tells FSG he must have this player for another 20m more, it’s likely he will get it.

Regardless… Popular decision is not necessarily the right decision.
If we had new owners from the Middle East… Would Klopp be gone (either because of his ethos or at the first sign of struggling)?
Or would we be completely ruined like Todd Boehly is destroying Chelsea - huge spend without results that will tie their hands for years?

Not really, a lot are on the fence and pretty reserved like myself or just tend to focus on the team…you have a few who are adamant FSG need to sell up for us to compete again but I speak to fans on daily basis up here and certainly none of them verbally attack the owners.

FSG have clarified the situation with Henry’s latest comments. They are staying. And they are talking to parties who are interested in becoming a minority stakeholder, with Henry hopeful that something will happen.
FSG have been good owners for us. Look at where we are now compared to when they came in.
The big question is whether or not we can stay at the top under their ownership moving forward. If a minor investor makes more cash available to help Jurgen finish building his new team, then bring it on.
We will have the stability and nous of FSG, plus some more cash going into the team.
That seems the best outcome, and hopefully it will all be done in plenty of time before the summer.
