I see you’ve applied the rain filter to make London look unrealistically dreary.
That’s not campfire
Yes it is. It was taken on a camping trip in 2013. The crud on the grill is bits of sausages and burgers.
In most places in the UK we’re not really permitted to have campfires in the traditional sense (circle of stones etc. ) due to scarring of the ground. So we carry a fire pit / fire basket that you can cook on, even when we wild camp.
Saw this sunrising across a field, stopped and took it, Hautes Alpes again (winter). Of course the photo doesn’t do the scene justice. It really was beautiful however I did capture it well enough to guard the memory.
Had a little culture last night, do go to the Van Gough interactive display at Salford Keys. Threw a cheeky night away too on a school night, too good an opportunity to miss. However, didn’t have my camera but phones do an incredible job these days:
What did you think of the exhibition? My wife saw it in Paris and thought it was amazing.
Or is this a different guy. Relative of Darren?
It was utterly stunning and beautifully presented. Running quotes from VVG brought tears to the eye. Thoroughly brilliant and absolutely recommended. I’ll never win a spelling D
That guy ain’t gonna need a large pair of budgie smugglers in those water temperatures eh! :0)
Wim Hof advocate?
Probably, he runs an organic farm there
He has some fascinating practices. Something I’ve half looked into here. So many lakes and rivers to choose from.
Managing to get out with my camera again. Autumn / Winter best time for me in a photography sense. This a small peak called Foel Ddu which translates to Black mountain / hill.
What camera have you got there? Looks like a Sony AR series.
