Fog makes for awesome conditions
It’s only missing an album name and a barely legible logo of an extreme metal band! (Sorry, mate, I couldn’t resist it, it’s a marvellous photo!)
Looks like a Lord Of The Rings setting
Ogwen Valley is a bit like that if you remove all the hikers. Pretty spectacular place. I could spend days walking round there.
Looks Brill…
Walked up Ben Nevis a while back and unfortunately…
Toooooo much evidence of human traffic everywhere, if you know what I mean…!
Oh dear. Both places pretty popular with the wild campers too much doesn’t help.
Ogwen Valley mountain rescue is the busiest in Wales and maybe further afield. They’re forever pulling people off the mountains here. They are challenging. Tryfan is not a walk, it’s a proper scramble.
What do you mean by that?
It’s not a mountain you can simply walk up, like Y Wyddfa. it’s half way between a full on climb with ropes and a walk. Small sections where you need to climb a boulder or something. Not technically difficult but if you slip you’ll hurt yourself. Not one for the trainer (pumps) brigade
Love this

Sadly can no longer be taken but this is just astounding.
Mrs bought me a year round membership to the RHS at Bridgewater Worsley, Just my phone but rather like this one.
Do you use a stand with your phone?
Even with anti shake my close ups come out all blurred. I am a clumsy old git.
No, hand held. Years of videoing jnr at Mrs command teaches a steady hand
Wonderful stuff. I must get out more!
Bit of exposure blending going on there I think. Nothing wrong with that at all
