It’s odd, I really like both Anthony Head and Sharon Maughan, I even quite like Gold Blend. But, God, I hated those adverts.

Loved him in Buffy and his cameo in an Episode of Doctor Who.

Think Sharon Maughan is a scouser…

He was a fantastic villain in Ted Lasso, the kind of bastard you loved to hate.

On a personal note, he lived local to me and I would see him around from time to time. Friends of mine who would both serve and regularly converse with him all echo the same sentiments of what a lovely guy he was.

Buffy is still massive in our house. We’re now watching with our teenager.

Weirdly, he is the third member of that recurring cast to die too young.

I screwed up. I’ll delete it.

Gordon Wood, a famous historian about revolutionary period of the US, died yesterday. If you have seen any TV documentary about the revoultion or the period you probably saw him. He was quite well knownt so there was a lot of history nerd stories doing the rounds about him since, but this is my favourite

Artist David Hockney has died aged 88:

Does anyone know if his work is still on display at the Walker Art Gallery? I remember the picture of the naked guy in the swimming pool being a big deal at the time.

I am at an age when I am surprised seeing people dying who are younger than me but also dismayed when I see people departing who are just a bit older than me… 64 is no age at all these days…88 is a life completed.

I know what you are saying but there are many 87 year olds who would disagree with you. Life needs to be lived - the likes of Richard Scolyer only reached 59 but showed (one) way to live a lot.
