The actress Penelope Keith has died. Her creation of Margo in The Good Life was comic brilliance: essentially making a character who had no sense of humour deadpan hilarious.

I’ll spare no tears for a vile woman who to mention but a few things consistently opposed and voted against gay rights (once commented that she hoped science could find an answer for people being gay), abortions, and likened brexit to slaves rising up against their masters.

As somebody who’s had a sibling and close friend both of whom were gay commit suicide, I’ll comment on a ghoul like her passing away however I fucking like.
I get that your original comment was made before we knew the circumstances of her death. But to still speak of her 'passing away ’ when we now know she was bludgeoned to death is pretty poor form.
At least the police have said they aren’t treating it as terrorism or as a political killing.
