What the fuck
I don´t imagine there are any old Liverpudlians on here that remember a Liverpool newsagent named Chas Povey⌠An ex soldier who was an LFC season ticket holder. Chas suffered cancer of the Jaw and throat about 5-6 years ago bout carried on regardless despite pain and disfigurement but sadly died last weekend He chose to spend his latter years in Spain but was an LFC fan to the end.
My wife and I will be attending his wake this afternoon wearing our club shirts and caps. His wife, Pam, has asked that everyone attending wears some red in his honour.
Rest in peace Chas Povey

Unless I misunderstood her meaning it sounds like Margaret Aspinall is not in favour of adding another name to the memorial at Anfield.
She has just said on BBC news while standing in front of it⌠.âWho would want to add another name. 96 is enough.â
I think his name should be added but I guess that might present a problem changing 96 to 97 after so many years in the public consciousness âŚplus changing logo, stationery, legal entities etc to 97.
It surely isnât insurmountable though.
