From Edinburgh’s most famous milkman
to the worlds most famous international spy,
it was quite a life he had,
RIP Sean Connery.

One of my lifetimes most iconic actors. A massive personality. I shall miss him.
My favorite Bond. RIP.

RIP, sir. Thank you for the many moments.
cheers for that, it brought a wee tear to eye that did,
one of my favourite Connery scenes was the cameo role he had in this movie,
the whole cinema erupted with cheers when he appeared…
Best role was in Time Bandits…
What a fucking year RIP Sean.
Greatest Scot… really? Is he forgetting Wee Jimmy Krankie
By all accounts a lovely man but he was a terrible actor; as wooden as they come and any accent you like, as long as it’s Scottish.
RIP Sean
Wierdly enough i loved the movie The hunt for red october

My wife could kill you for this.
He was brilliant in Highlander playing a Spaniard
Also in the Rock, an underated movie, with nods to bond.
I loved him in every movie he did. The Untouchables a particular highlight for me.
But even from the Man who would be king (thanks, @RedSeven), the Medicine Man, Entrapment (CZ-J, oh yes)…I adored him. Actually had a tear in my eye when I heard the news.
RIP.
First game I ever watched - Nobby Stiles was player/manager for PNE.
RIP
Exactly. A great film star doesn’t really have to do that much other than have great visual presence and great luck to get a prime role early.
The best films he was in were that great because of the two directors he was lucky to be working with , not because of him.
Alfred Hitchcock in 'Marnie"
John Huston in ‘The Man Who Would Be King’
His co-star in the latter is the far better actor.
I watched Hell Drivers a couple of weeks ago and was surprised to see him pop up in that!
A lovely man in some regards, for example setting up foundations for Scottish Arts.
In other respects, not so much. His attitude towards women was deplorable.
