Same day as his former manager
RIP Sinead OāConnor
Rest in Peace. Sinead was a beautiful, tragic soul. If anyone deserves the calm and serenity of a quiet life it is Sinead.
ā¦
I met her on holidays a few yesrs ago,our kids played together, and she wasnāt the person i and others maybe thought she was when she first started out.Spent an evening just chatting about where we were, the kids, small talk but she came across completely different than i had imagined.
RIP
That has made me feel extremely saddenedā¦ Far Far Too Early
RIP Sinead
Sad business. Seemed like she never found a way to cope with the loss of her son and couldnāt go on. I loved her spirit and her sense of righteous indignation with whatever wrongs she stood against in the world. She was also a fierce advocate on behalf of kids who had suffered abuse. A tender soul and a fighter, all at the same time, but fragile too.
Bloody fantastic artist as well.
Nothing Compares To You helped to define an era. Iām instantly thinking of where I was and what I was doing in life when that song came out, and the best ones have a way of transporting us like that. Pure voice, striking video, and that tear. So compelling.
RIP.
So shocked and saddened to hear of Sinead Oā Connorās untimely passing. She had the voice of an angel, one of my favourite female artists. She was a truly unique and brilliant artist sometimes many people misunderstood her good intentions. She was way ahead of her time in her fight for the oppressed and in her music. She also didnāt bow down to the music industry bosses in the way she promoted her image.
What a massive loss to music industry and audience
Rest in Power Sinead. Thank you for the music
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon.
I still canāt believe she has gone, she is a legend
One of my favourite songs. Sinead was amazing in this video, so pretty. She played her music on her own terms. Irelandās roseās music lives onā¤ļø
Randy Meisner has passed away:
My condolences to his family and friends.
Donāt know if anyone has posted this but veteran movie actor Sam Elliot passed away last week. He featured in such films as Tombstone, Gettysburg and Ghost Rider. Specialising in the Western genre, his trademark horse shoe moustache grace many a movie. RIP.
I think this may be a hoax
He must be getting on a bit now. Hope itās true that heās still with us.
Heāll be 79 next month, so heās still young enough to run for president.
Heād get my vote.
He always looked old in his movies so much so i would have thought he was 90 by now .Good actor though.
