That was a brilliant show both lead actors were well cast
He had the white suit long before the man from Del Monte…
RIP Marty…
Kenneth Cope, left, as Marty Hopkirk in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) with Annette Andre, who played his widow Jeannie, and Mike Pratt as Jeff Randall
I notice Mike Pratt died tragically young in 1976 at only 45. I was wondering why I hadn’t seen more of him
BBC Report here. I love the picture they chose for him.
Remember copying his sliding goal celebration at Italia 90. Went through several pairs of tracksuit pant.
RIP to a player who had a brief moment right at the top of the game.
Italy - winners of 4 world cups but their best contribution to the tournament are their iconic deranged goal celebrations
RIP, Toto
Wasn’t Schillacci’s famous celebration the one with the eyeballs looking like they were about to explode?
Yes. It had the intensity that made Diego’s face in the camera celebration from 94 look like someone in a K hole by comparison.
A superb actress… amazing career…
Just saw this, always brilliant. Downton was worth watching just for her
I’m always reminded of Miss Jean Brodie with her. She did that Morningside accent perfectly. I remember seeing an audiologist in Falkirk and her receptionist sounded exactly the same. I’m not sure if that was part of the test.
Such a fine lady and a brilliant actress.
RIP lovely lady, you will be missed and remembered with fond hearts thanks to your brilliant roles you played
