How would having a WC every two years or even every year help them? Not much I don’t think.
I’d also like to experience many things I’m realistic enough to know that I will not, there are other things to enjoy. Just representing your country, of whichever level, is the best thing at the end of the day. If you can get to some major tournaments or enjoy certain success, great.
