You could say he let all that “Promes” go to waste.
We were also linked with Promes Frittes at the time.
Sad times.
Or has he done all that as an application tobprove he will fit in at Utd?
Badumtish.
Was getting worried watching that little kid’s spine. Must be made of rubber.
Referee’s call confirmed - just a coming together
LFC included.
This has been out of control for so long…
but unironically…
Footballers involved in betting scandals are just going to get more and more prevalent.
Well how does this work as every advert break will carry 4-5 adverts for bookies and unlike a tv programme that you will skip the adverts on. Football doesn’t really work like that.
Of course gambling for kids is a massive problem but it’s more to do with in video game betting rather than sticking a fiver on Liverpool.
The biggest gambling group in the country when I attended some training on this was 11-12 year olds.
It makes all pretense from betting firms and clubs quite hypocritical.
No doubt his family is proud. His country is proud, as well.
Isn’t Ali still sucking off the fascists?
I do that story too well so cannot really comment. If he is into what you say then that is sad and I cannot offer any retort.
The above picture was more linked to his general base behaviour than any slight on his achievements - of which there are many. People can do great things, even those that are a tad unsavoury.
Don’t mind Martinez.
Gets opposition and their players rlied , sure. I’m all for it. Robbo can come across as a snide shit for opponents too.
At the end of the day, it is a game of football. You play 90 odd minutes and shake hands. Games should be played within the spirit of a game - everything else harms the game. Rubbing a loss into the opponents face (or in this case using a trophy as a cod piece) is as childish as it is uncouth and for me, outside of the spirit of the game.
p.s. Robo is not play in the same league
Yeah , I’d agree with this.
As far as your point against Martinez goes , it’s fair. I can see why you’d think that way.
My point is the game is being made worse with the playacting , referee buying , cheating etc etc as it is. Martinez’s antics while not setting an example for children , aren’t nearly in the same benchmark.
Id rather parents tell the kids that the actions of some footballers aren’t acceptable. They are players like Ronaldo (accused of worse crimes) and kids actively take him as a role model.
