It is a genuine classic. Dude in the space of a month has been exposed coked-up ranting about his own bias against a club, and shown in media cavorting with Indonesian hookers. ‘How dare you challenge my integrity’.
The only remaining question is whether or not FSB have an open kompromat file on him…
Integrity definition- the quality of being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.
Watching the game last night (Newcastle v LFC), Madley as the referee, and besides these officials not being held to account across piss poor decision making; re inconsistency rife throughout the numerous games on the same matchday; a simple thought occurred to me.
If that twat Howie had an ounce on integrity, a gram even, then why is he not holding the referees to account for being inconsistent… WITHIN the SAME GAME…!
Surely that is the easiest way to assess their competency. Remove comparisons between differing referees as such, remove the comparison of the same referee judged across differing games, on different days even… Hold these fuckers to account across each 90/95min game, and the inconsistency displayed within it… To me, it is simplicity in its easiest form.
Nail them for giving MacAllister / Trent a soft yellow - yet leaves Joelinton to play every match against us like some wrecking ball knocking us down like skittles - Yet NEVER a yellow card issued.!
The PGMOL are a tin-pot outfit, run by amateurs, that are slowly strangling the game of football we won’t recognise much longer
The refereeing performance last night was infuriating not just because of the impact it had on the game, but one the way that impact is almost completely absent from any sort of evaluation of referee’s performance. All of that, including that of the PGMOL, focuses on getting the big issues right. And in that context you will read about how the ref probably correctly waved away two penalty appeals from Newcastle. But you wont read anything about how he handicapped the game in quickly he was willing to give them fouls and us yellow cards in a way that was not matched when Newcastle were pressing us.
He could have given that pen when Isak dived as there was ‘contact’. Would have been soft but I’ve seen them given.
The yellow cards were a fucking joke though. In the first 10mins alone Joe Linton escaped a yellow on 3 fouls each of which was worse than the one Mac got booked for
I think he’s a home blower. He is influenced from the noise of a partisan crowd 80 meters away, rather than what he is means to be witnessing with his own eyes immediately in front of him.
Just saw some brilliant refereeing in the Bundesliga.
FC Union attacker booked for simulation to get the pen and the ref was surrounded by Union players. In the next minute he simply branded what looked like 3-4 extra yellow cards.
Gold. Should happen every time players do this over VAR or any decision.
