Who is this @1972 idiot? Did he go by another name previously on here?
I havenât said anything offensive unlike your goodself. Grow up. Itâs an opinion. You donât like it donât engage it.
No matter how many times you have seen it, the Haka is still one of the most awe-inspiring sights in sport.
I really think we should do it tomorrow. Would love to see the reactionâŠ
Cultural misappropriation.
Iâm a bit conflicted over the variety of them they use these days. I get why they do it, but none of these others do it for me the way the better known Ka Mate does. I feel a bit let down when I see them a different one.
Pretty dominant fist half from the All Blacks. Patagonia B struggling to deliver at the breakdown and keep on side of the ref.
Accuracy again. 8 visits into the 22 or so but only 6 points to show from it. New Zealand 3 visits, at least 17 points
I havenât seen anything controversial in this one yet. Argentina just canât get the breakdown right in a way that the ref likes to see it.
New Zealand are just better for me.
That said I do believe France were hard done by last week and Iâve still not really accepted that South Africa won that game clearly.
I loved the advantage over and the Argies hadnât even made 3 yards let alone 5.
Walesâ performance in the 1987 semi is looking like it might finally be erased from the record books
Thanks for reminding me. Iâd forgotten about that.
Their inability to make their kicks hasnt helped. So one more try needed now
Moâunga. Why?
We could rename it and call it âthe Fuckerâ.
No suprises in that semi final.
Bizarre from an All Black.
I was expecting or rather hoping for a better semi after the quality of the quarters. May the Poms compete better than the Argies.
Disappointing semifinal, especially after Argentina started so brightly, but not that surprising. The thin competitive pool for rugby is a real problem.
The way the draw has worked out too I guess. Saying that I always suspected that this weekend was never going to live up to what we saw last week.
I see that Pichot (former Argentinian scrum half) has had a pop at Bill Beaumont, head of World Rugby on this topic these last few days.
QUOTE
âItâs not a global game,â he told the Mail. âWe can say, âOh, Portugal beat Fijiâ but I strongly believe rugby is at a critical point. A lot of unions are trying to keep the old boysâ club.
âI tried to come and help but the Six Nations blocked me â calling every union, especially Alan Gilpin (World Rugby CEO) and JJ (John Jeffrey) because they are threatened. Come on guys, itâs not frightening. I love the game.
âBill came to Argentina last year and I said, âBill, I ran against you because you wanted to go down one path that wonât expand and be global.â You can see it now. Nothing has changed.â
âCall me in June 2026 and ask me about Portugal. It will be a dĂ©jĂ vu story. You have the Six Nations in one corner and the Rugby Championship in another,â he said.
âItâs self-preservation, survival. The system is done to protect the core. They have to see that bigger is better but they wonât take that risk. But they are already at risk. They are in the red. It has to be a discussion of taking risks for a bigger vision.â
