All the game needs is scrum halfs with skills!
Yeah. England vs Ireland is one of the best games Ive seen in years. I only watched Wales France on replay already knowing the result so that was a bit lessened but Id imagine had I seen it live Id have thought the same.
Well he’s made it over the first hurdle
One of the best. He fully deserves all the plaudits that will come his way.
The impact, angle, speed, change of direction. No malice. RWC final not tiddlywinks. Refereeing was disgraceful. No consistency whatsoever. Well outside everything going against NZ.
Etzebeth with a clear red card before Cane’s itself. Which wasn’t even reviewed. Half of South Africa’s points were penalties which should have been awarded to NZ. One of them the referee even admitted to. NZ with a try incorrectly disallowed. Other penalties as well not picked up for NZ. NZ should of won that.
Great game between the Reds and Blues earlier. Blues did well.
Given how poor they were in the first half the Saints did well to come back in the second. Shame it wasn’t quite enough. Fingers crossed they go on to get the prem
Champions Cup final very good, on ITV4 if anyone wants to watch non Mancs do stuff. Was 15-15 going into extra time. Sin bin for Leinster gave Toulouse massive headway. Red card for Toulouse, 10 mins left, 3 point gap, Leinster back at full strength. Should be entertaining
Great game, well done the Saints. Fingers crossed for the final
Deserved title for the saints given the season they’ve had, Bath played very well especially given the early red
Rhys Webb! What have you been playing at?
Bullet would have bounced off anyway
I dont know how bad the comments in the video were, but this is an unusually stiff punishment for this sort of thing.
DuPont the GOAT?
This has been all over social media since the French gold.
GOAT? No.
Best player currently? Probably.
Louis Rees-Zammit failed to make the Chief’s roster after some encouraging signs during the pre season games. Not sure where this leaves him now. He’ll reportedly stay with the team to play on what they call the practice squad (essentially human cones who line up against the real team in training drills) and that theoretically can give him enough exposure to different roles to help him focus on what roles to try out for next season.
He might also get called up to the team depending on injuries, etc.
Training squad i believe and possibly available for other teams. Dont know if thats a transfer thingy or not. He’s on a juicy contract for at least a couple of years too.
I have no idea what his WRU contract would have been worth to him, but assuming he doesn’t get cut from from the practice squad he’ll earn about $200k between now and the end of the season, so its not that big a sacrifice if he puts that time to use really learning one or two positions in the hope of making the cut somewhere next year.
