Draper Fonseca ought to be a belter, time to see what this teenage sensation as they call him is all about.
Real shame about Fils having to pull out, that Rublev match was another blockbuster showdown I was hyped up for.
Let’s hope he puts in a vintage performance. We don’t want to see any late bottling.

Quite right, made that look far easier than I thought. Looking better with every passing game.
Hard to look past Sinner or Alcaraz again but Draper and Tiafoe are both good outside bets for darkhorses.

Weird choice to say the least by the house DJ to play a Mad World remix during the changeover at the Swiatek vs Rybakina match. Who would play THAT song at a sporting event!
Fans seem like they’re fed up with having to respond to the “Pap-pap-pap-pap-pap-pararaaa” fanfare voiced by individual fans (the response used to be an enthusiastic Olé). Now it sounds like a tired response. In fact I think heard someone tell one fanfare starter to shut the fuck up in French! 
Looks like it’s up for Draper.
Oh well, he will learn from this. He didn’t change his returning starting point until the last Bublik service game. Nearly broke him. He needs to learn to change tactics in the middle of a match.

Bublik’s drop shots were a thing of beauty out there - Draper just couldn’t figure a way round them, could see by the end of it how much it meant to Bublik. Good luck to him in the quarters against the winner of the match up next between Sinner and Rublev.
& props to Boisson for pulling off the shock of the tournament so far knocking out #3 ranked Pegula.
