Biggest shock so far on the mens side

Fair play to Fognini, made a real game of that.

You do wonder if Wimbledon should start about 9am and then stop around 2ish til 5ish.

That’s how my days go.

He has layer superbly well but Popyrin also didn’t play up to his level.

This is a guy who gave Draper a hard time on grass just a couple of weeks ago.

I think that would be an great idea. I feel physically ill watching suits and ties in the crowd when it’s 33 degrees

Yeah I was thinking this and posted elsewhere. I couldn’t watch sport in a suit especially in this weather.

I think I’d struggle to watch any sport in this weather. I once got ill after a one day cricket match and that was under 30.

Raducanu playing good tennis today, very tough test against Sabalenka next.

Karay through to the third round as well, got a relatively easy draw too. The amount of seeded players that have fallen already in the women’s is absurd. Very open year

The men’s however will almost definitely boil down to Alcaraz/Sinner. Prefer Alcaraz myself, plays nicer tennis, never been banned for cheating, seems like a nice bloke

So no one who works can watch it?

Those prime time hours of 5pm til about 10pm?

The suggestion is adjusting the afternoon to the morning.

So start at 9am finish around 2ish, restart around 5ish and go til 10ish though with the two roofs you can go on till about 11.

Trust me in about 20 years it’s going have to be

Apologies, didn’t read your post properly

In 20 years it’s going to be Mad Max. Tennis will be replaced by gladiatorial blood sports.

Rublev, Moutet, Kyrgios were born in the wrong era

Not that it matters much today, but I had a feeling Cilic would mean trouble for Draper. He still has a lot to learn judging by this loss and the loss to Bublik at Roland Garros

So Emma can focus on the mixed double with Alcaraz after Friday :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Radacanu has started really well.

Not a huge tennis fan, but I do have a passing interest. Saying that, am 100% behind Radacanu if only to watch the horrible trolls eat their humble pie.

Jesus.

7 set points saved in a single game!

I thought she was weak as piss??

Okay I don’t know whether Emma will win this match or not (she just slipped and fell). But the levels she is showing today, I didn’t think she had it in her. She is genuinely matching Sabalenka and then some.

She’s playing her best tennis in a long time tonight.
