Absolutely outrageous. I watched a part of the semi between Sabalenka and Anisimova, and the latter was really good! Bencic too is in good form currently, and was still wiped away 6-0 6-2 by Swiatek in the other semi-final.

Swiatek got a new coach and worked on her service motion. Markedly more power, accuracy, and most importantly increased first serve percentage. Has almost been transformative for her whole game.

Sinner plays like Djokovic but with Federer-like flatter ground strokes and has the same court demeanour as the Swiss great.
Alcaraz has the fire and athleticism of Rafa but also the touch, finesse, creativity of Federer.

Not long to go now till Raducanu kickstarts this shabang off. She’s coming into this in very good form, playing some of the best she has since the win here 4 years ago and free from injury almost the whole year. Expecting her to at progress through to the quarters.

Raducanu looking impressive again.
On the flip side Drape had to withdraw. He just didn’t look right. At least 10 mph less on his serve. Best not do any further damage and heal properly.
