I still hope the Immigration minister cancel his visa on the basis of him being a persona non grata. A high profile person behaving recklessly in public despite having a confirmed infection surely should be issued a persona non grata status by any responsible government to their own people. If Novak attended some events outside of Serbia while he was positive for Covid and those countries should also declare him persona non grata. If not, what is the point of rules for everyone else?
Is this perhaps is the first discussion on this forum where 100% of the participants are on the same side? I feel like we are in uncharted territory here.
I’m a bit bored of the status this story has gained.
Hopefully his behaviour after the positive test now becomes the story. The guy is not a martyr or a Christ like figure he is a pompous idiot
The only thing I want to know is what the testing requirements are in Serbia. Can you take a home rapid test and that is considered a ‘positive’? Or would you still need a government run test to be considered positive? If the first, then its obviously very very easy to fake a positive test, but if he needed a government test to receive that letter that ISMF has linked above, then him faking a positive requires inside help and I’ll have to get out my roll of tinfoil.
Maybe I’m looking into it too much and he really cares so little about everyone and everything that he thought it would be proper to continue doing public events and playing tennis on the streets while COVID positive. In either case he’s a total wanker.
Just wait until Alex Hawke MP deports him tomorrow, and then a photo of Mr Hawke cheering on Roger a few years ago turns up on Twitter…
Any relation to Tony Hawke? I remember him, sort of.
In other news, worth looking that Andy Murray has spammed Farage.
What a cock, being supported by king “UKIP” cock.
I cannot believe the cunt flew to Serbia.
In the whole panoply of weird shit that makes up this case, Nigel fucking Farage as a random guest is the weirdest shit.
Not sure if everyone has got this side to the story. I have a friend who has been heavily involved in the campaign to end this policy.
Hopefully Djokovic can see the silver lining in all of this and if he spent the downtime wisely he would have gotten ripped doing bicep curls with the slices of bread that came with his meals.
Dude…Australian policies on asylum seekers etc are amongst the worst in the world.
They make what Priti is doing here seem like best practice.
Tony Abbott was elected on Stop the Boats! Another cunt from Oxford with a three-word slogan.
I would haved loved to see that debate given Australia’s short history hint hint. And still they went with it.
I did wonder if Farage is vaccinated for a short moment then realised he probably is in secret before campaigning how it’s all bollox.
Thought this should go in here given yesterday’s conversation.
The Lucky Country, hey??
Lucky for some.
Yeah lucky for Djokovic he can afford the best lawyers to find a technicality.
Many stuck in that hotel cannot and they aren’t fighting to play tennis for 2 weeks but potentially for their lives.
It would be nice if all those in detention could show that they were similarly denied access to legal assistance within a reasonable time from being initially detained. What was Djokovic? 8 hours or something? I bet there would be loads of others still detained who that would apply to. They should use this judgment as a precedent to obtain their own release. If you can’t afford good legal representation the next best thing you can do is use the legal precedents set by those who can.
Seems he did fake his COVID test
The dim-witted rat-licker quip is quite funny.
