If you have kids 8-11 ish, highly recommend Disney’s the curse of sulphur springs. Think red hand gang meets Stand by me with a sprinkling of stranger things. Good introduction to the darker things in life. Just finished it, excellent stuff.

Anyone else with sci fi / supernatural recommendations?
We got through Malcom in the Middle a few weeks back. What a funny show. Watched some of it when it was first out but had other things going on (said kids and family life) but never the whole lot. There are several similarities to Modern Family with regards to plot, wacky happenings etc.
Well worth watching if you’ve never seen it before or are looking for something to watch with your kids (probably agreed 12/13 some of the story lines can lead to awkward questions.
It too is on Disney.

Sure did watch Red Dwarf. Kids haven’t though. What a show. Might even try Blackadder with them.
I watched a couple of episodes of Blackadder last night, the first series.
“Are you Edmond, Duke of Edinburgh”? “No I’m a bowl of soup”.
Blackadder’s second series has some content, be warned. How old are the kids? Some of Flash’s lines in the 4th are corse too. “Send the bitch with the wheels in 5 minutes or I’ll fly to England and give your wife something to hang her towels on” springs to mind.
The Orville and The Expanse are great programs. Orville a straight rip of Startrek which grows nicely into its own clothes whereas The Expanse is just very good scifi.
1st is not the best……

Aye,1st series was a bit poor but 2nd and 3rd were brilliant,the 4th well,thats got to be up there as one of the best British comedy series of all time for me.
And possibly the best episode in the history of comedy in the final one.

Just started watching Flowers on Netflix. 4 eps in and really enjoying it. Olivia Colman and Julian Barrett in the lead roles.

I think S1 was OK. S2 was tedious.
