The TV Thread redux

Is that the last season?

Not sure lftikhar I am going to binge watch tonightā€¦
Let me know if you want a spoiler alert tomorrow :0)

Netflix in the UK has added Taboo. A series starring Tom Hardy. I saw it a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. Might give it another watch. I thought there was going to be a second season, but that hasnt happened.

Yeah, I think Hardy was talking about it at one stage, but perhaps heā€™s been too busy with other commitments to make it happen.

He wrote it so it was very much his project. Youā€™d think if he had the interest in carrying on the story it would be greenlit.

Slowly making my way through my backlog.

Finally got round to watching season 2 of the Mandalorian this weekend. Enjoyed it and am looking forward to season 3.

Watching Alice in Borderland. Nothing special.

We watched Kotaro Lives Alone on Netflix.

Itā€™s a manga which is hard to describe without making it sound terrible, but we all enjoyed it. I imagine itā€™s a very marmite show though.

Im on a proper run of shit recently.

I couldnt bring myself to start the second/final season of Knightfall so started the new one with Toni Collete about some sort of mystery backstory that Netflix have been pushing hard. Yep, thatā€™s shit as well.

Iā€™m going to eat more haggis, wear more tartan and drink more whisky.

Started watching Taboo (not the porno), I quite like it.

That (Yellowstone) is really what I should watch next, but thereā€™s just so much of it at this point that it seems like a chore rather than something enjoyable to catch up on.

it goes by pretty quickly. I think the wife and I crushed it within a week. we havenā€™t done that in some time, but we both enjoyed it for what it is (over the top)

I still miss Deadwood.

Doesnt it have something like 5 seasons?

4 seasons of 10 episodes. about 7-8hrs per season I believe.

maybe it was a couple weeks.

I was just in contact with my friendā€™s parents who moved to MT a few years ago to retire. They own acreage right on the Madison River, 300km east from where this show is located. his mom invited me to go fly fishing there anytime I want. Cannot wait to go.
