Season 1 was near perfect. And Winona Ryder 
I think without the affection people had already built for the show the other 2 seasons wouldnt have been as well received, but really hoping they go out in a blaze of glory. This fits my “needing something new to watch” hold nicely.

I love that my favorite series are coming back to live. Now I just need Umbrella Academy to come out with Season 3 and I’m good to go.

I mean I know I can google, but was the last season the one with the hair band older brother, or was that season 2?
that was Season 3 I think.
Made it through six episodes but had to call it a night.
What about The Boys?
I thought season two was even better.
Season 4 is good but so far not as good as the previous ones
Season 2 of True Detective was not exactly great but I think a lot of the disappointment stemmed from expecting it to be as brilliant as Series 1 with Woody Harrelson and Martin McConaughey. Can only hope Season 4 with Jodie Foster returns it back to its original high levels of engrossing drama.

I thought it would be crap when they set it in LA. A huge part of the appeal of TD1 was the relationship between the story and the setting.
Still, like all others I hoped the follow up would match the original, only to be bitterly disappointed by an incoherent plot, stilted dialogue and flat acting.
How anyone can compare it to the groundbreaking brilliance of its predecessor is beyond me.
