I was listening to YouTube discussion after HotD aired (I think it was Alt Shift X). There were discussion on this insertion changing the narrative of several things, including the theory of Brandon Stark time travel and the Mad King.
Yeah, the mad king being obsessed with wildfire is definitely a touch point, but how does it relate to Bran? Or do you just mean it provides a different interpretation for his āburn them allā vision?
I think that the theory and discussion was on Mad King now knowing that the Others and the Long Night will come that led to psycho break, and start obsessing with, as you said, burn them (the Others) all.
I probably will need to listen to the podcast again. I was not fully paying attention.
Edit: Not sure if it was Alt Shift X or another discussion (David Lightbringer). Anyways, there were lots of discussions and a lot went right over my head as I was not paying attention.

After all that, I forgot to mentioned that the acting, facial expressions in HotD were amazing.
They did wellā¦ but those wigs are so damn distracting. They all look a little silly being platinum blond lol.

The same could be said of Emilia Clarke. I havenāt seen the show yet but I thought Matt Smith looks rather good in his wig.

I donāt disagree, but emilia clarke was one person (and thought she looked good blond- didnāt know she wasnāt actually until later in show)- this has a whole cast of people Iāve seen in other movies without wigs running around with platinum blond hair.

They had Harry Lloyd as her brother in the first series but I can imagine that itās a bit disconcerting when itās everyone. As I said, I havenāt seen this yet, but the way you describe it sounds like The Black And White Minstrel Show doing Vikings.

Just did the Stranger Things experience in London. Disney level attraction, if you have kids who love the show or youāre childish at heart (hi) do go. Massively recommended.

Episode 4 - The Fielder Method
Wow. One of the weirdest 30 minutes of tv I have ever seen. I sort of want to say that I cannot recommend it highly enough, but think most people would absolutely HATE it. But those who like it will find it incredible.
Just watched the final episode of Animal Kingdom which aired yesterday.
Said many times that itās not the best show Iāve ever seen but similar to shows like Banshee and Kingdom (MMA series with Frank Grillo) and others Iām sad that it ended.
we ( me and the wife) are the same, if not even more scathing.
its such a shit show, so crap on so many levels, but we just keep watching it and enjoying itā¦
