There is just too much, we’re watching Stranger Things currently! Sure I’ll get to it at some point… 1-2 hour max an evening for a series.
How Kathleen Kennedy is still in a job I have no idea. It not just that the new trilogy she oversaw was so disappointing, but that the problems with them were a direct consequent of her lack of oversight in their development. She has one of the greatest production CVs in history due to her work with Spielberg and Lucas, yet was also responsible for one of the biggest harms to a valuable franchise in history. The number of announced projects that ultimately were aborted were all on her watch as well.
i watched Obi Wan with my son. thought it was decently good! Boba Fett also quite good.
Started to move a bit in Ep3 but nothing to write home about.
Anybody managing to tolerate She Hulk? Jnr and I just watching it for a laugh. Bloody awful.
Because the force is female.
Twerking aside, I’ve enjoyed all of She Hulk, at least once I looked at it as just stand alone entertainment that just happens to take place in the MCU.
Although having said that, there is a theory that some of the events may be connected to Captain America 4.
I enjoyed the first couple of episodes. But gave when she turned up for the friends wedding episode. Just bored the fuck out of me the one, and felt so cringe that I couldn’t stomache it any more.
lfti…
Watching a relatively good South Korean series at the moment that doesn’t contain a lot of the silly-ness that is in some of them…
Detective/Profiler on Netflix called -
Through the Darkness
Andor going pretty well IMHO.
I think She-Hulk has been pretty good to be honest. Started off well with a few meh episodes in the middle and now it seems to be finishing strongly. The episode today was the best so far.
Just caught up with Stranger Things Season 4 Finale.
If you havent watched this yet put it on the list of must watch TV. If you watched it and didnt enjoy it please burn your TV, your internet connection and go live in a trailer park and wait for No.1 to visit(IYKYK)
so just to be clear, did you like it?
Started watching it last night. Somewhat longwinded but interesting.
Season 3 was crap but the rest is very, very good. Go to London and do the live experience, even better!
Out of ROP, HOD, and Andor, i think Andor might be the best one. It’s way better than Bobba Fett was. Ranking them:
- Andor
- Rings of Power
- House of dragons (fairly distanced third- but I’m watching to the end)
It’s actually kind of nice to have three shows to watch that come out on a weekly basis, it’s been a while since me and the wife had any tv show to look forward to. Andor and ROP may flip depending on how season ends, but fairly certain HOD will keep third spot.
I’m almost the opposite. I’m finding it quite freeing not having committed to watching any of the three.
While I will read the last two GoT books if they ever get written, the final season was crap and I’m just not interested in putting any more time and efffort into Westeros.
I like Tolkein but Rings of Power isn’t Tolkien. Ultimately it’s just fan fiction with a big budget so I don’t feel I’m missing out
Andor was one of my least interesting characters from one of my least favourite Star Wars movies and I have disliked Obi Wan and a lot of the Boba Fett series, so again have no interest in that.
Bring on Willow
There is another one not too bad also…
Hot Stove League
On Netflix again
I’ve got low expectations of Willow. The original cast were really good that it is difficult to imagine others playing their roles.
On the positive side, low expectations can mean plenty of upside if it does work out…
Started watching The Bear on Disney+, early days but first impressions very good.
It’s on my list but I have an odd reluctance to ever turn on Hulu despite the surprisingly good content. The conventional wisdom is its the best Hulu show yet.
Another interesting one is Paper Girls on Amazon. It got no marketing at all and so I’d never heard of it until the social media negative response to it not being renewed for a second season. Im only a couple of episodes in and while it is no Stranger things (the show its most commonly compared to) I can see why it has such a strong folloiwing.
