I loved the Dukes of Hazard growing up in the 70s. Such a great show.

SInce youā€™re all talking about Morfydd Clark, I suggest you watch Saint Maud.

Season 2 of Barbarians has been released.

Interesting.

I left it late but started Midnight Club last night. So far itā€™s very in keeping with Flanaganā€™s other work so excited to have a couple more episodes tonight and hopefully finish it over the weekend before halloween

Watched itā€¦ 7/10 :0)

I downloaded a few things when I was over in Liverpool last week. Currently watching Our Friends In The North. I half saw a couple of episodes in the mid-90s when it was originally on but, bloody Hell, this is brilliant stuff. Christopher Eccleston is magnificent and it has Daniel Craig and Mark Strong in pre-megastardon days.

Currently on iPlayer and Iā€™d really recommend it.

Andor actually keeps getting better, by far the best of these huge ā€˜franchiseā€™ shows imo

I wasnā€™t too impressed with S1 either.

Iā€™ve only seen the first episode and wasnā€™t all that excited by it. I think thatā€™s because when I think Star Wars, I expect pew pewing which obviously isnā€™t what this show is focused on (or at least not yet!). Iā€™ll watch the rest of the series and will probably start to like it more as the story starts to unwrap a bit more.

Definitely very different than the usual Star Wars, theyā€™re obviously going for a more ā€˜adultā€™, dark even ā€˜realisticā€™ (whatever that means in this context) style. So if you expect classic Star Wars youā€™re bound to be disappointed. I think it succeeds in what itā€™s trying to be though.

Watching it now. Halfway through 3rd episode.

It is about the same interest valueā€¦

Im really enjoying this so far. Flanaganā€™s stuff has tended to start strong and peter out and with a few episodes left you can see signs of that maybe happening again, but so far itā€™s really enjoyable and well acted from a young unknown cast.

Finally went back and finished Loki. Really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the second season. I would love them to do a separate series or one off with Richard E Grantā€™s character, that could be fun.

Iā€™ve still got most of the Disney Marvel shows to watch (and a couple of episodes on the former netflix shows to mop up) with about 3 of the movies left. Next Iā€™m going to start watching the rest of Moon Knight as I only got two episodes in before.

On the Star Wars side, Iā€™ve finally finished Boba Fett, which I thought was OK although the second half of the season (which I enjoyed the most) felt more like it was Mandalorian season 1.5. Will probably watch the rest of Andor after Moon Knight as there isnā€™t much choice on the SW side and it seems to be getting a lot of positive reviews.

That pacing is part of the reason I donā€™t rush into watching his shows, although I admit the two series I have seen I have enjoyed the build up in the first half of each of them.

How is this even possibleā€¦ Absolutely brilliant

Absolutely incredible. Shame about the crappy music, though.
