Afterall they triggered the Klopp revolution by splashing 145 million on Coutinho. Won’t mind this deal if there are playing time guarantees. Such a big team with lot of high profile games - will make him a better player for sure.
Would they be able to register him?
Pedri / Gavi would do too.
Bajcetic needs to get minutes in and those two would be blocking his path.

Whatever we put in they wont treat him right because they never do. If there is any truth to this they are responding to an immediate short term need made worse this week with the additional loss of Bernal, but they have Lopez back now after his summer break, Frenkie not far from a return and Gavi expected to be back sometimes around the beginning of winter.

Shouldn’t even entertain the idea of letting Bajcetic go to Barca. They’re a shit show of a club and have consistently tried to unsettle our players. Anything we can do to ensure the rot sets in further we should absolutely do.
Morton one is interesting. Wonder if we’re viewing it as a case of “if he’s not moving permanently then he’s more use to us being here than out on loan somewhere.” Especially if we’ve no more mids coming in.

Barcelona have made a late €4M loan offer to Liverpool with a €30M option to buy for Stefan Bajcetic. Liverpool would have a €70M buy back option on the midfielder.

This is all that needs be said. While he might be thrilled at the idea of it, the reality is that they are a club that has routinely been casting aside and sidelining players they have invested huge transfer fees in. A loanee isn’t going to be treated well unless he is an overnight sensation. It is not in in the best interests of the player.

Can’t see us letting Joe move now. And can’t see Joe pushing for a move to a club like Palace. Could maybe see him do that to get a move to Newcastle but they don’t seem that interested, even if they move on from pursuing Guehi.
Actually been a quiet window for centre back moves, especially those younger emerging types that have been linked with various moves all summer. The likes of Inacio, Hincapie, Simakan, Tapsoba, Silva, Diomande, Branthwaite, Lukeba and Guehi all looking like they’ll be staying put.
