Heard all the stories about how good Chelsea were going to be when they signed Nkunku. He’s done the sum total of fuck all.
If Osimhen joins them after agreeing to move to Saudi Arabia then all they’re doing is signing a player who has proven to lack ambition. I bet he spends his Chelsea career sitting in the treatment room getting personal massages and picking up £250k a week.

Im really hoping Arsenal sign Waheem. Hes garbage. OK chelsea couldve been a bit more sensitive when telling him had no future but hes been garbage for about 3 years.
Its strange that I’ve heard so much about the Osimhen hype for so long, but I can’t remember anything specific about his game, his goals, or anything else. I don’t watch Serie A, but I’m still somewhat aware of other hyped players like Leao or Khvicha. Is he really a €100 million striker? Or just another example of how dire the striker market is nowadays?
I’d argue that joining Chelsea is equal proof of a lack of ambition

I don’t think that the squad’s deep enough. A DM and a CB should have been priorities. On paper we do have a couple of options for every position but how many would be happy to see Gomez for instance get an extended run in the middle of the defence?
It’s not as if we have the most robust players and as far as Slot’s record with injuries is concerned, I’d like to see him negotiate a full PL season before concluding that his record is much better.
That’s one reason why I find all the talk of selling Salah to Saudi quite disrespectful. I don’t think he’s ever shown any inclination to do that, and has demonstrated quite a lot how competitive he is, even right now.
Plus I’m not sure he’d get to tweet his annual Christmas family photo from Saudi.
EDIT: Not to mention the number of times he’s mentioned wanting a leadership role in the team, how important it was for him to receive the captain’s armband in the few games that he did, etc.
