They just aren’t used to not getting what they want. I bet they’re seething about letting Gravenberch go too. They really are a club built on entitlement and arrogance.
They’ll do anything to try to save face.
For the season we had especially some of the key players, it will be strange if they are not wanted by clubs around Europe. What’s more important is what the players and the club want.
Gakpo is a very good player and I wouldn’t sell. Bayern are angry about Wirtz so want to stir the pot for us. We are firmly in control. Obviously if they put a sum of money down that demands we take a look, then we will do. I’m chilled over this.
This is the same ill thought fucking nonsense we have every time one of our players is wanted.
Unrealistic shite…Started with Owen, who was out of contract. We got lucky with Ibe etcwhere we got unrealistic money…but by in large the nonsense spouted about value of our players is in the realms of schoolboy stuff.
Musiala is worth £150 million?
Gakpo would go for about £80 million…
Do the maths.
And before the “oh its a joke” shite comes out…its fucking annoying.
You post some shite lad, but this is off the scale.
@Sithbare
Are you keen for Gakpo to go?
Why value someone who produced his figures in a title season?
More abject fucking nonsense.
Completely agree. Why would we consider selling one of the mainstays of our title winning team?
And where on earth would we find a player who could match his output?
And, haven’t we got enough on our plate this summer?
Think Saudi’s interest on Nunez will start cropping up soon. Al Hilal has offered United 100 million for Bruno and his wages are like 70 million a year!! They might want Nunez and Jota for their league. Not sure whether they will be interested to move there.
I think it’s fair to say Slot has him firmly in mind to be a pretty key member of this team next season. After Salah, van Dijk and Macca he’s probably about the most secure player in the squad.
Again, for me Gakpo is a very good player and I would not sell.
There is a sum of money somewhere on the scale that would make us consider it. Obviously the more integral the player, the higher the sum would have to be. At a guess, if Bayern offered 100M euros for Gakpo I would imagine that would prompt an internal conversation on our end.
In all likelihood Bayern won’t do that, and we will be quite happy with that, as Gakpo plays a lot and puts up good numbers for us. It looks to me like Bayern are acting like a spoilt child not used to getting their own way, so after missing out on Wirtz they have decided to try to unsettle Gakpo.
