Same, if we judge it’s the right decision (might not agree with it, depends from case to case, in this one I would understand) and the right money, I don’t care too much where he goes. Also no issues with signing players from such places either, even if it’s rare.

Well in that case they can piss off, obviously.
But isn’t that sort of the point. We’re an elite level club, we’ll be lucky to have a truly first team level player come through every few years.
Those that don’t make it are sold to help fund other activity. And in doing so it frees up space for the next wave to take the step up to the next level. Only in doing so do we find the gems that have the level of potential we need.
However, you are absolutely right that there seems to be very few to get really excited about beyond Neyoni and Ngumoha and we do need a stream of homegrown talent to fill out the squad.
We just won the league with 4 academy graduates in the side, 3 of whom played significant minutes. Comparisons to Chelsea are knee jerk nonsense, especially over a story of moving on a kid who didnt arrive at Liverpool until he had already played senior football for another club.

No. And who can argue with EA25? Certainly not Ryan Gravenberch (score of 79) and defaulting to starting on the bench vs Wataru Endo score of 80 and indefatigable.

According to Goal writer Richie Mills, Chelsea have agreed to personal terms with Frankfurt striker Ekitike. The price of the deal is estimated at 80m pounds.
If this is true, I expect Liverpool might explore Gyokeres or Goncalo Ramos as fallback options.

OR make the sale contingent on them holding discussions for a fair Branthwaite deal in the future.
Though the news I’m reading lately suggests the English CB Liverpool wants to buy might be Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.
