The Unreliable LFC Transfer Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 3)

Which players could be leaving?

Harvey Elliott revealed this week that he is wary of “wasting years of my career”, so he’ll weigh up his options this summer.

Tyler Morton is desperate to play after a loan move was blocked last season, while Nat Phillips has strong interest from West Bromwich Albion and a number of other Championship clubs after his temporary spell at Derby County ended.

Liverpool will also listen to bids for Kostas Tsimikas, Nunez and Chiesa and are expected to sanction a loan move for third-choice goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros, who sacrificed a year of football to provide cover last season. The 23-year-old is expected to leave for a top-flight club in Europe and currently has various options in France and the Netherlands to consider.

Re Nat Phillips, I thought his contract was up this summer, but he still has a year left.

Anything close to £5m will be good going, seeing as we rejected a £4m last summer, looking for closer to £10m.

I take it Davies will the 3rd choice keeper taking up a homegrown slot then.

Sounds like Pecsi is being brought in as no3, would qualify as U21 so wouldn’t require a slot.

In Europe he still would as you need to be at the club for 2 years with the UEFA version of the rules.

Bloody hell, whenever I think he’s free, an info comes out that he has more on his Liverpool deal.

If he doesn’t move this summer, it will be 10 years as a Liverpool member.

Or more…

Better than slabby Maguire getting a testimonial for 10 years.

Well after the Wirtz transfer, they will have to pay top, top price if they want Quansah.

Not somebody we should be actively looking to move on at this stage for a multitude of reasons.

He would be their most expensive signing ever, if he goes for the 50M we said we wanted. Presumably that would be a bit too steep for them, and they would go for the likes of Bade at around 30M?

I’m on the Quansah bus and I hope he stays. I think he is a very good player and just had one or two little wobbles this past season, so he dropped out of the side. But he’s got the lot, for me. With question marks over Konate’s contract, not to mention niggly injuries, with VVD getting older and with Gomez missing a lot of football, I would be loathe to sell Quansah.

Still, if Slot doesn’t quite fancy him, I’m sure he will happily reinvest the dough. I’d be surprised if Leverkusen put enough money down for him to make us deal.

𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖?: Liverpool made £84M from finishing 1st in the UEFA Champions League group stages, received over £180M from winning the Premier League and spent only £10M last summer on Federico Chiesa.

So the money 100% is there and it’s time to be aggressive this summer, so we set ourselves for the next 5 years.

It’s as simple as that folks…
