Tbh I’d be happy with any of those three
Well he’s going be high on a list of it’s only 3.
I have a strange feeling one among Nunez/Jota will land up in NewCastle or Spurs for a sizeable fee.
Don’t see anyone offering a sizeable (can be subjective what that is) fee for Jota.
Total BS why would we look for a winger when we already have 2 very competent ones.
Because we’re selling both to Bayern. And Darwin to Saudis. And Jota to a horse farm.
Is that the politically correct term for the glue factory?

Nunez will go and Diaz may. The rest won’t I have my doubts about Diaz staying though. Still feel it’s all contract related
My double cousin once removed’s ex-girlfriend recently had a one night dtand with Isak while showing him properties in the greater Manchester-Liverpool area. He wouldn’t confirm where he was going but when he saw she left him her blue knickers as a souvenir he burned them in the ashtray before he left.
So clearly, it is a done deal he’s coming here. Downside is apparently he strained a quad during the evening…
Posted in the Robbo thread, but posting here too because of the Chiesa to Napoli link. Not putting anything in the Nunez thread as it’s the same “news” as the past few times.
Chiesa can go back to Italy but we have to get a fee greater than 10m for him as we’ve received him. Nunez - either Napoli meet our valuation or he goes to the desert
If we get that I will be happy. It’s the buy back stuff I like.
I still think both him but especially Quansah could develop into talents.
I can’t imagine Elliott in Italy, Spain or France for some reason. He’d do well in Germany, but could they afford him?
A Brighton/Brentford/Bournemouth type team would be ideal for him.
TBF, Nunez must also accept going to the Middle East for the football too!
Tap-in merchant Romano reckons we’re working on signing Ekitike from Frankfurt. I don’t think we’ll pay anything close to the €100M I’ve seen mooted, reckon a deal will be done for closer to 70M with some add-ons.
Looks a quality prospect but he’s still a bit raw. Will need to manage him well in order to get the best out of him.

A bit different, but I get the sentiment. Both of them have finishing issues. The prevailing wisdom is that Nunez was a Klopp buy, not an Edwards/Ward buy. Klopp overruled the data guys on that one and it didn’t work out.
From what I understand, our data guys love Ekitike. He compares favorably to Isak in a lot of metrics, and the feeling is that he just needs a season or two of development in a strong team.
I agree it is risky paying that much they come down to 40M then include add ons and incentivise the whole transfer.
