It’s when the rule is something that’s accepted not written down where the issue seems to be.
It’s called rule 121a, section B.
"No teams, with common ownership, may use the relationship to sell, and then loan back, players between the two entities. Unless copious funds are deposited into the PL accounts. Copious funds bypass all PL rules heretofore applied to non Middle Eastern owned clubs, no matter the ammount of Middle Eastern affiliation (see Chelsea).
I’m not holding my breath…
I think city have already done this for a MLS player (Lampard?), however not sure if that was one of the 100 clubs they own.
It was…NYCFC
I think PSR is more hole than loop. But Isak has to agree to it. He isn’t a piece of livestock that they can order around.
But realistically, Isak isn’t gonna move house if NUFC loans him back from Al Hilal?
Who are these WestHam_Central and ExWHUEmployee?
Reliable or not?
I think the name suggests reliability or lack of.

Yeah, it’s definitely one or the other.
Have a few West Ham in the family, apparently ex still has some contact with people in the club so they treat him with a fair degree of reliability. He called them signing Malick Diouf for example.
They also claim that on their forum (kumb) is a geezer who says he’s related to Morton. Dunno what they’ve got as proof that he is, mind ![]()

I’m so, so sorry.
I’m so, so sorry.
You think that’s bad! I’ve got gooners in my now wife’s family (all from Islington born and bred)
Why was he fired?
The irony of Newcastle being a Saudi feeder club.
That will go down well with their fanbase.
He’ll be loaned indefinitely back to Newcastle, this is just a way for them to get their cash into the club and beat PSR regs.
I can’t believe that it’s legal, but there you go.
I think PIF’s interest is to raise the profile of the Saudi League more than making Newcastle United become more competitive.
They might well decide to give Isak back to Newcastle on loan but they’d rather spend more money at their home teams.

Isak doesn’t seems to be the player who wants to be paid a hell lot like Ronaldo and forsake sporting achievements this early in his career.
PIF would want to raise the profile of their league but if they are unable to do that, then the next best thing is to go around EPL’s PSR and make Newcastle as competitive as Man City.
I wonder if more deals, like our with the new goalie, will done where a player only moves in a year or 2 (or 3) from “signing”. For Isak, they could pay 100M (or even 150M) and say that the player moves across 2028… Everyone wins (except possibly fair play and the spirit of the game.)
surely its not going to happen though…
i know its a meme…but ill genuinely be using the phrase ‘games gone’ if it does
