Inter have decent cb’s. Maybe them moving for Leoni is a precursor to someone moving for Bastoni.
Them bringing Leoni in order to sell Bastoni in the middle of August doesn’t sound realistic at all. I think Bastoni is going nowhere for now.
If they get a suitable price , I can see Bastoni leaving.
Inter is having a bit of a change with inzaghi leaving at any rate.
It’s probably unpopular, but I’d try to sell Gomez now and then bring in Guehi and Leoni. I really feel sorry for Joe, but… it’s pointless in the long run if you can’t rely on him. I’m so so tired of this ongoing situation. There I said it.
Gomez is injured just as often as Nunez was offside. No matter how much you want the player doing well and support him, at some point you have to part ways.
I’m not sure you could sell him given hsi current injury, and I suspect we could very well sign two CBs without needing to sell anyway.
With his HG status I dont think it does much benefit to sell him, especially not in a year of transition, but I understand the argument about filling 2 additional spots.
Keep Joe around for 1 more year to help give Bradley another year to physically mature into the demands of first team football, in a year when Frimpong might be asked to play RW, and where there is some bedding in of new defenders, and then help him get a favourable exit next year if that is what is all parties want.
I’d sign the two players before we sold him.
Fabrizio reporting City are in for Rodrygo.
Isak and Barcola it is then.
I read somewhere that we aren’t interested in Rodrygo, which is surprising, but in any case, we have to bring at least one more forward in.
Just wanted to say (again). I like this forum, they’re miles ahead of news channels. Just seeing some info appearing on Giovanni Leoni and yet his name came up easily a week ago on here!
Could it be a wages issue? Isn’t he on top tier cash.
Liverpool eye Brentford defender Nathan Collins
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Brentford defender Nathan Collins. As per Give Me Sport, the centre-back has reportedly emerged on their radar. It remains to be seen at this stage whether they will lodge an official offer for his services over the coming weeks.
Collins, 24, could be seen by the Reds as someone to boost their defensive department. If he joined, he would give them more competition and depth at the back. He is still young and has potential to get better in the future as well.
I read today that Spurs want Savinho from City. Rodrygo would be an ideal replacement.
This could be my “Sinbad was in a genie movie” moment, but I am positive his name has come up before over the past couple of seasons of a young player we’re watching the development of.
@The-AllMightyReds recently suggested a swap deal
He also flagged Brentford signing him a couple of summers ago
Although @sweeting wasn’t particularly impressed with the player’s record before then
Haha all due to respect to @The-AllMightyReds but there is no way I listened to his scouting report and took it as one to park in my memory bank
The youtube bloke fan channel who lives in Spain is very close to Kelleher mentioned months again Collins had reportedly meet Hughes.
Well since Sweetings post he’s played 32 and 38 games in the last two PL seasons.
But it is Give me sport.
He’s been playing in the UK since 15 so I assume he is home grown.
NEW: Liverpool are REALLY considering internally to sign Giovanni Leoni.
My prediction? Liverpool sign Giovanni Leoni.
