I wonder if Alcantaraās probable arrival signals the start of a selling spree from the club. Is it a coincidence that Brewster was reportedly valued at 20-25 million pounds, just as much as Alcantara will cost? Maybe Iām reading too much into this but stillā¦ If they are buying Alcantara, that means that they are expecting some money coming in, right?
Iām not letting go of belief that Edwards can get 20 million pounds for each of GrujiÄ, Wilson and Shaqiri, though, some 5 million pounds for Karius as well (to be honest, at this point Iām thinking that it would be easier to get 30 million pounds for Wilson than 5 million pounds for Karius). Thatās Alcantara and Sarr money right there, for example, even before the decision is made on Brewster (who Iād like to see loaned out to a PL club if possible) and Origi (whoās probably better off moving elsewhere).
Iād be happy if we could get 60/65mp for the lot, especially if that meant 20/25 for Alcantara and the remaining being used for Sarr(or similar),while also holding onto and using Brewster before deciding to sell him.
I think anything we sell we will also spend, so wouldnāt surprise me if we sell several fringe players and make a late bid for someone like Sarr.
I donāt think Karius, Wilson, Grujic or Brewster are in his plans at all, I also think Shaqiri May free up what they need to sign a replacement.
There is Gini too but Iām no longer sure on that one going as I was, I think Kloppās tendency to continue playing Ox up top was an inkling to that option and then you have Origi, if several did go expect two more in.
Your looking at at least 50m for that first 4. I think we need to recruit up top if we sell mind, Iām comfortable with Fabinho at the back if Iām honest
I heard that Wolves have made an offer for Oxlade Chamberlain. If we can sell him close to his 35m original fee, then we could flip that money to sign a forward such as Sarr or Patson Daka. This would make a lot of sense to me.
Iām glad to hear that! Stay and fight for his spot. That would be consistent with everything the lad has ever done. He wants to be a Liverpool player.
Karius itās 2020 and this guy is still here
Nat Phillips
Grujic
Wilson
At least two of Origi, Brewster and Shaqiri
Whatever insignificant youth players remaining
Iāve been wondering if COVID has brought those decisions forward at all? Brewster in particular would seem to be a player we would / could loan out from Christmas for example.
Iām surprised Karius is still here, my concern is we wonāt be able to sell him.
Sadly I feel he may be at the point in which we have one bad game and we then fear every shot. At least the lad has a defence unlike us at amateur level.
How reliable are the links? Seems very much from the ālinked to a player that once played well against usā basket. Echo are usually involved in such rumours.
