The Unreliable Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 1)

Sell any 3 from Shaq, Origi, Wilson, Brewster, and Grujic and on top of the near 20 million we’ve already brought in in sales I think we’ll be in net positive.

The Anti-FSG crowd wont like that.

Yup all things considered on transfers alone we are probably 50m up on net spend, it will only take potentially 2 of them to wipe that out.

Maybe three at a push, though I think with the Chinese deal, I wonder if they’ve agreed to continue to the PL when a second wave hits, it may pause for a week or two but I think we would probably see the bubbles return as they were, though I don’t think that procedure changed too much.

I think there is probably a bit to spend anyhow, but I think Klopp would like that in case something comes up. I’m comfortable with not pushing over our net spend for this season, I feel some teams are risking it considering I can’t see fans being back now til after Christmas.

We’ll be close. Another 60 going out. If Brewster is sold, we’ll hit that. I wonder how much clubs will want our extra squad players this year. Deadline week will be interesting.

We hemorrhaging money so rapidly that we have been forced to win both the PL and CL in order to break even, while adding the FA and LC will see a meagre profit.

Correcting myself.

It wouldn’t surprise me if we cover the fees of Thiago (£25m), Jota (£41m), Tsimikas (£12m) AND Minamino (£7m) by the end of this window.

25 + 41 + 12 + 7 = £85m

Lovren + Hoever = £23m

So we need £62m until October 5th - easy.

We’ve sold Ejaria already for £3.5m. Add that on.

I’m guessing there’s a theme to our transfers so if we’ve got Thiago and Diogo then surely the next is Kyliano.

Replied to the twitter thread in error but in response to Schalke being settled, they didn’t look much like it.

Based on our new methodology, we will offer them 2.5m per year for the next 10 years.

With Lovren and Ki moving on, a CB must have boarded the plane going by how Klopp and Edwards work… Will not surprised to hear an announcement today…

we just need to play an exhibition match in North Korea and it will cover us that.

I doubt we will hear anything about anyone till Monday, Jota will probably be announced then. I would agree we are probably in that market now.

Will say this we might be slightly overspending on Jota but we have massively underspent on Thiago.

I guess that could also be because there are costs factored in for “financing” the deal over a longer period of time and for Wolves to agree to just accepting 10% payment in the first 12 months.

I think by the end of the transfer window we should be in the black. Wilson. Origi. Shakiri must see the writing on the wall. Any or all of them may not get a run all year. Brewster will struggle but be there about. The others must be gone.

Yep. We signed him after he was scouted by allisson and his brother. He’s got a german passport too

Liverpool, Schalke and CB’s - the love continues… Matip, Papadopoulos and now Kabak…

Papadopoulos?

We were heavily linked with him, I think around 2015/16

Never knew we signed him though

Heard this from a reliable medical source. Vaccine for Covid 19 manufactured in a secret lab in Liverpool yesterday. Property listed to a M Edwards.
Asked what he would do with the money the cagey scientist released a crytic statement about keeping the Wolves from the door…
