We are going to steal a march on Man City and sign Harry Kane for 160mil and weekly wage of 400K.

Lots of chatter online that weā€™re closing in on a deal to bring in 16 year old Bobby Clark from Newcastle United. Son of Lee Clark (NUFC legend), heā€™s a right footed winger. I know nothing about him.

Funnily enough the Liverpool Echo reported it yesterday as being on the cards, and the Evening Chronicle (the North East version of the Echo), saying the same today, but both citing one and other as the source of the information - theyā€™re sister papers.

Hopefully another good youngster in the door. Although these kinds of signings arenā€™t the most exciting right now, itā€™s pleasing that we are snapping up talents of the future at as young an age as possible. Looking forward to seeing how Harvey Elliot does this season.

I know it is Grizz Khan butā€¦I know there are one or two peeps on here keen on this player so I am posting regardlessā€¦

I think itā€™s difficult to see that and not conclude itā€™s Origi. Itā€™s not just that theyā€™d need a forward if they lost him, but other attacking options we might be willing to get rid, essentially Shaq, I cant see Fiorentina being high profile enough to interest him. Shaq may not quite be a player to start at this level, but heā€™s a hell of a lot better than a lower mid table Serie A player.

I donā€™t know, when I saw that my instinctive reaction was to wonder whether the playerā€™s name rhymed with daiquiri.

No. Neither Divok not Origi rhyme with daiquiri

Itā€™s partly why it has to be Shaqiri because itā€™s Friday afternoon, Iā€™m thinking of booze, and I canā€™t think of a single alcoholic beverage to rhyme with Origi.

I was expecting some youth signings (3 or 4) but not knowing much about our youth academy not that sure about numbers. They do tend to be recruted nearer the end of transfer windows though donā€™t they?

Itā€™s not even 9am here and Im right there with you. Sorry, Shaq. You gotta go.

Oh come on, itā€™s better than nothing, well not much!

Iā€™ve seen one twitterati say that Mark Ogden has said the club are not looking to give new contracts to Ox and Keita this summer.

This one is saying we have multiple parties interested in Nat and one interested in Davies.

If Nat departs we should get a healthy fee for him after his exploits last season. Ā£15M or so, and if you go back a year earlier, he was on the exit ramp for peanuts, so fair play to him.

If he stays heā€™s a back up, fifth choice, and at this point, after tasting the action, I expect him to move on to play, and if he does, it is with our best wishes. Helped us to third spot and it somewhat smoothed out a dog turd of a season. Well done Nat.

As for Davies, apparently he can play, and he can assume fifth choice back up role, meaning league cup sort of thing, plus a smattering of other games here and there.

Williams on loan at his age, surely?

So, no one knows anything. Just the way I like it.

Spurs see him as a replacement for Arry Kane.

Yeah itā€™s all very obviousā€¦

ā€œLiverpool to offload 4 playersā€ - Origi, Shqiri, Phillips and usually another obvious one
ā€œLiverpool not to offer Keita a new contractā€ - Shock horror

Itā€™s why I think we saw some of these flights of fancy this week from those who need subscribers or traffic.

And at the end of the season (not just transfer window), both will still be hereā€¦

If you drink enough then
Beer
Whiskey
Rum
Vodka
Gin

All rhyme with Origi.
