The Unreliable Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 1)

From today’s BBC gossip column:

Liverpool have emerged as one of the potential destinations for Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, 33, who is expected to leave Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich next summer. (Fichajes, in Spanish)

But there’s more…

Liverpool are in pole position to make a January bid for German striker Karim Adeyemi, 19, from Austrian Bundesliga side Red Bull Salzburg . (Mundo Deportivo, in Spanish)

So… Do we go for the old guy or the young guy?

we need Haaland. Games would be done and dusted in first 15 minutes with the amount of chances we create.

I agree with this.

But I will choke like a cat coughing up a fur ball when I see his agent and dad make millions off it, and when I see the wage we’d have to pay.

My fear is he is going to Man City and the same argument applies, as they dominate games and create a lot of chances too.

Yeah, if not us I don’t want him anywhere in PL. He’s crazy good and a monster. He’ll be a nightmare to handle for most of the teams.

Klopp would keep him in a cage at the bottom of his garden and feed him raw steak.

I’d like him at our club, but no reason to shit ourselves if he goes anywhere else in the PL.
Kid’s 21 and he’s won fuck all.

Sure, aside from the two leagues and a cup with Salzburg and a cup with Dortmund.

For me Bellingham makes so much sense on every level. However, we would need to fund it.

So who would go?

Keita

Rudiger? Seriously?

Rudiger was rumoured to be a target for Real Madrid next summer.

Makes sense, they’ve lost their latest resident asshole (Ramos) so need a replacement

I’ve been backing Keita for a long time but this is pushing it. If he performed consistently he’d be getting his chances.

It also says he wants a prominent role despite having been injured for about three years. Poppycock I say.
