The kid went to Real, Bellingham is not available so we decided to extend Milners contract, keep Ox and spend the Tchoumeni money on Nunez.

de Jong is exactly what this midfield needs. Strong on the ball, able to link the lines, eye for a pass, and good defensive nousā¦truly world class.
Now, if his wife is the problem, show some balls lad. Tell her, āIāll buy ya a nice big house in South Wales, ya cunt!ā
Or just leave her in Spain.
De Jong just seems like he has too much baggage and too many hurdles to overcome.
Ruiz, Barella, Bennacer, whoever. There seems to be loads of pretty good midfielders that are 23-26 available.

Didnāt know Ruiz is just 26. Donāt think Barella or Bennacer is practical since both Inter and Milan would be hoping to win the league. Aside from his baggage, De Jong would be too costly.

You do have to remember we only spent 40m on Konate the summer before and did bring money in, our net spend over the last five years will play a part, people go on about our structure but the 40m quoted a few years back will surely have increased over time and wages would have been factored in.
I doubt Rodgers ever stayed in limits.

Was Klopp asked about possible transfers after the game?

He would have told them to do one I guess.

Unfortunately just after he joined Roma he broke his leg he has had some rotten luck after leaving liverpool but Klopp never takes players back who didnāt want to stay in first place but he also burnt his bridges by saying he was not appreciated at liverpool as soon as he joined psg

Heās done it before, on more than one occasion, and so I don think itās something to rule out due to principle if the situation was right. The issue with us vs where he was at dortmund, is that players have tended not to leave us (under klopp) for their benefit but for ours, meaning it would be a step back to bring them back. That wasnt the case for Sahin and Kagawa, hence Klopp accepting them back with open arms.

Iād love Barella. As soon as Tchouameni was a non starter we should have just got this guy instead.

Donāt know much about him. Can he do the #6 role for us?
Doesnt play it often but appears fairly versatile

From what Iāve read he is a real Klopp type player loves to chase players and win back possession.

Ah, definitely what we need

Hows his injury record though?
Looks like a B-2-B type. A younger version of Hendo perhaps. Great work ethic. A typical Klopp man?
