The issue with Touchemani is the money was there. He just wanted to go Madrid, he has said this.
We really don’t know what the clubs plans were and whether there was a back up or whether their plan was to wait a year for Bellingham.
Up to the club now but I’m not sure there is any further amazing commodity out there that would delay our plans for a further year nor is there the possibilities of Chamberlain and Keita picking the slack up.

I have alot of respect for this forum and it’s users. I will be honest , this forum has been one of those very places, where I confided in my darkest times during covid, where I lost so many closed ones.
Sometimes I just fail to understand why people cannot simply take anyone’s opinions as they are. Don’t see any reason why seasoned users here have to knit pick to just keep re-iterating, that your opinion is wrong.
Even my missus wouldn’t have been so agitated by my post, as I have witnessed here:
It’s starting to look like we have put all our eggs in one basket, aka Bellingham. It will be atrocious and lots of eggs on our faces, if he does ends up signing for a rival in PL.
I am happy to discuss things with people, but not at the cost of belittling others or constantly telling them they are wrong. Because, the thing about opinions are they will be always right and wrong, It’s just the perspective.

Going completely off-topic here, but as one of the guilty parties in this respect, though not necessarily in this case, I pick apart arguments to test my logical thinking, and talking about one of my passions is just an excellent way to do that. I can’t blame you for having your own opinions, but I can certainly correct you if your premises are factually wrong.
I’d like to think that likewise, people will do that to me when I do make such mistakes, because it’s how we all learn.
