I hope we can, but there’s a big difference between half a dozen tournament games and full season in the PL/CL plus cup games.

Yeah there are more opportunities in the latter

Please no there are far better choices than him.

Conceicao would not be a bad shout. He’s stood out every time I’ve watched Juve this season.

If he is made to think the brick wall is Liverpool. And maybe with his intelligence, will not be difficult to bluff him into it

With players like Gordon, it’s not that he is terrible, he is ok to a certain level and if he costs like 30m, maybe but Newcastle would think they should get at least double that. But honestly, he is just not likeable, at his level, there are plenty of options

I don’t mind him, but it would also depend on the price of course and what else we have in mind to do. Unlikeable or not, you get many players who can be quality and unlikeable to some, that’s not the game that is played. The main thing is that he’s a professional and works hard, which he does. The rest, who cares. Or better to say, you can’t please everyone. They’re there to win games and trophies.

We’re being linked with a player who has a name that makes me want to say “dude” whenever I hear it.
Camavinga dude! Showing my age there.

Liverpool are on red alert with Real Madrid now open to selling France midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, 23, who is a long-term target for the Reds. (L’Equipe - in French)

Also, this is quite believeable given that we might not qualify for the CL.
Arsenal have the edge over Liverpool in the pursuit for RB Leipzig and Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande, 19. (Caught Offside)

Maybe we’ll be shopping at the cheaper end of the market

Liverpoo l and Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Monaco and France winger Maghnes Akliouche, 24. (Teamtalk)

Exactly why CL qualification is so important.

No English player is going to cost 30m these days. Even Jones will cost 40m, and Gordon clearly has more impacts on PL football than Jones over the past 2 years.

Ohh, and I will say it again, we are in short of homegrown players, and on top of that Gomez and/or Jones may leave this summer.

As much as it’s likely it is caught Offside and Teamtalk we are discussing.

Nice for a skim read but about as reliable as Sylvia Browne.

And no she didn’t predict COVID anymore than some scientists have predicted a global virus for decades. We were ironically over due.

Liverpool eye €40m Hoffenheim star as potential Salah replacement

Sport Bild reports that Liverpool are considering Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana TourĂ© as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

With Mohamed Salah set to depart Liverpool this summer, the Premier League club is searching for a winger to help fill the void left by the Egyptian star.

One of the options under consideration is Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana TourĂ©., according to Sport Bild. The 20-year-old has no release clause and would be available for around €40 million.

The German outlet claims Liverpool scouts were in attendance when TourĂ© played the full 90 minutes for CĂŽte d’Ivoire in their 1-0 friendly win over Scotland last week.

Touré has been at Hoffenheim since joining from Swedish side Hammarby in the winter of 2025 and is under contract until 2029.

This season, he has scored two goals and provided 11 assists in 24 Bundesliga appearances for the Sinsheim club.

Another candidate reportedly on Liverpool’s radar is RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande.

The 19-year-old would come at a significantly higher cost, though, with Die Roten Bullen reportedly demanding up to €100 million to sell their star winger according to Sport Bild.
