Whilst I donāt believe this rumour for a second what is obvious is that in āreplacing Salahā we wonāt be getting a like for like replacement for what heās been giving us the last 8-9 years.
The goal scoring burden will shift centrally. You donāt spend Ā£200m on CFs and then hope your new RW will be your top scorer.
Whoever comes in may inhabit the same space on the right as Mo but he wonāt be a replacement for Mo.

This. The club bought two strikers who, while not your classic no. 9s who sit around and wait for the ball to be laid on a plate to them, are supposed to share the goalscoring burden that Salah carried for the past two seasons.
Also, the likes of Wirtz and Szoboszlai should be decent in front of goal, while we also have to hope that Gakpo will revert to his old self. Buying a creative winger makes a world of sense at this moment.

Heās quite active in assisting in comparison to scoring goals. Could work with our new look front line next year (creators on the wings, goals in the centre).
With 8 assists in the Bundesliga this season, thatās a strong return for a 20 year old in his first proper top-league. He has seemingly 200+ km covered already this season. With 570+ sprints and a surprisingly high tackle numbers for an attacker
That tells you a few things: Heās not a āluxury wingerā, he tracks back consistently. He presses aggressively, which suits high-energy systems (hopefully like ours).

Archie Gray is one I havenāt seen elsewhereā¦ if they go down he might be a cheap option to allow rotation at RB and he also has played CB and CM.
I was thinking his ship had sailed but heās played decently since returning to the team fully and is only 20.
Of course itās Indykalia so itās eithier come from somewhere else or he plucked it out of his arse.
