The Unreliable Transfer Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 4)

Falk is usually wrong anyhow speaking of unreliable these two. I assume the second one has literally no relevance to signing him as even if he lasted a season I’d doubt we would be buying manager faves.

Liverpool hope their strong relationship with RB Leipzig will help them land 19-year-old Ivorian attacker Yan Diomande early in the summer transfer window. (Football Insider), external

Liverpool are also monitoring Napoli’s Sam Beukema, 27, with the Dutch defender a long-term favourite of manager Arne Slot. (Teamtalk)

The summer of YNWA and the outpouring of emotion for Jota has long gone hasn’t it.

Sorry but he’s still a Liverpool player, struggling like so many, criticise his play but using him as a joke isn’t on.

Weren’t Olise’s injuries a concern while he was at Palace? Are those issues behind him now?

Who knows mate, some will have you believe one weeks worth of training and matchday in the Bundesliga is the equilivant to a season’s worth in England, so it’d be a little tricky to quantify.

Lets hope hes better than pingpong

Olise is so fucking good - he made Mendes and the rest of PSG’s back line look slow and uncoordinated. Reminded me of Salah and Mane at their peak. I cannot see Bayern parting with him unless we pay a price they cannot refuse - one that it’ll be hard for us to justify with so many other positions in need of reinforcement.

Appears that United are backing off of Anderson because they believe he’s City bound. I hope we can find a way to bring him here - I’d take him over Wharton, personally.

Dream on.

Yep…why would Bayern let him leave? The fee would have to be absurd, and even if that is the case I don’t think they sell him.

Unless he really wants to return to England? Can’t see it happening. Even if he did there would be lots of competition.

Not only that, but why would he want to switch from Bayern’s exciting attacking style to Slot’s boring slow-paced game?

Totally agree.

He could, but will he? I suppose Istanbul is handily located for trips to Cairo, and he would be much less likely to hear air raid sirens there.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, 33, could spurn the Saudi Pro League this summer and the Egyptian could instead sign for Turkish side Fenerbahce . (A Spor - in Turkish)

Looking at LIV and the snooker I think the pro league won’t be as flush with cash.

I think he has shown little interest in going to Saudi Arabia. Turkey might not be at the top of his wish list but it pays well and a lot of reputable players head off there so it would be understandable if he did go.

It is possible I suppose? Would be negative move for football reasons though considering Fenerbache have not qualified for ECL and may lose the qualifiers.

If Trabzonspor go above them? then it’s only an outside shot at the Europa.

Turkish football is definitely a high possibility. He can still do a lot of damage in that league and still possibly play CL football so it’s attractive and while not as super rich, they still pay high for big players I have the impression.

We’re back at the “being assessed” stage of the funnel now. Remember, the point of our process is that we assess pretty much everyone. That is what a data driven approach allows for
