The Unreliable Transfer Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 4)

What a shame someone is sitting on his hands again!

He’s gone from sitting on his hands to shitting on his hands

I would love to have Iraola as our manager as he might bring 3 brilliant Bournemouth young players with him.

I’ve got a horrible feeling that they won’t. He’s talking about next season like he expects to be here. I can see a mass walkout of players, fans and staff if he remains though. I might even start it.

He’s not coming across as someone who is secure in his job.

I dunno, I’ve never been booed at work despite quite a few dodgy performances.

Iā€˜m not allowing this - at least not on TAN. The club gives you so much joy during the good times which means you have no right to leave during the bad times.

If Slot is still here next season posters who suddenly disappear should be called out.

There’s a new Sheriff in town.

I have a feeling that FSG will relent and change their decision to keep him as they did with the the tickets price increase. I don’t know whether it is a coincidence that Ajax have offered a job to Slot.

You know I couldn’t leave even if I wanted to. I’ve been a fan for 56 years.

But that does give me the right to make hyperbolic statements and pout in the dark times.

You??

I figured you’d be the first to jump ship :rofl:

That’s unreliable as they come to be fair….

Half the article is VVD’s programme notes and then a report from Turkish Fotomac, yeah me nethier.

Also he was talking about next season last week.

Iā€˜m not a perfect fan. I’m hoping for us finish 5th with the fewest points possible because naive me thinks it will help getting rid of Slot in a few weeks.

Hoped for a loss in the derby 10 years ago. Got a draw. Rodgers was sacked. Jürgen came in. Worked great for me.

But I would never skip a Liverpool match if I have the time to watch. Doesn’t matter how bad we are.

I wouldn’t be upset.

Yeah that’s some twisting words around shit to make a story.

But … on the other hand, he’s probably rich enough already, just like Salah, and could easily say guys cancel my contract I’m off to play golf too

The boo’s today seem to be a serious potential decision maker. But I would caution whoever thinks it’s a good idea to change coach’s now, there are big issues coming the way for whoever it is to take the lead.

And the community on here love discussing about a need for x3 wingers FFS

Robbo’s gone

Konate is defo gonna

Virgil picks up an injury at WC or cancels his contract this summer, then we are the big time gonna!

We need experience in defence going into next season as a priority.

Some options … criticise if you like, I know we need to be strong at the back to get back to the top.

Jarrad Branthwaite - he’s not a player traditionally connected to Merseyside, he does live here though. Joined Everton at age 17, he’s won fuk all there in 6 years and probably never will win anything so long as he stays there. He is the LCB, so again would have to be Virgil’s positional replacement. Never signed for a significant transfer fee, so why not throw some money at the bitters and say you’re wasting away his future as it is.

Aaron Hickey - He could certainly complete with Bradley for a start, his versatility shows he plays at both full back slots. And his games played for Scotland, they have favoured him at RB, so why not?

James Justin - He had a couple of bad injuries in the past, but was a while back. Has been consistently played though since he returned. Experienced backup with Bradley?

Morato or Murillo’s agents should definitely be given a call to find out if these experienced defenders want to go up a level?

I know everyone fancies the Elliot Anderson option, but we are in a stalemate and stocked at CM currently with international players still under contract.

Calvin Bassey - Doesn’t jump out as a yes he would be a great player for us? But looks like a good tackler, right age, lots of experience. Another LCB defender, but probably better than relying and throwing in 2 inexperienced younger players next to Virgil next season.

Trevor Chalobah or Levi Colwill - They’ve both been part of teams that have won finals. Chelsea lose to City in FA cup then it’s mid-table mediocre-ville. Colwill has had a dodgy injury, so might be too soon to consider?

These names are unreliable, but Liverpool defence this season … far from reliable!

Is this a parody account?

Have a little patience Barlow

Aside from criticising the level of players you’re suggesting, I’d also criticise the fact that this should go into Who Would You Buy thread. Please keep this thread for unreliably linked players, everyone.
