Yes please we need skill at speed!
Would be a Salah side player.
I very much doubt if thereās anything in this. Heās an LB and an established Italy international, so I canāt see us buying him to replace Kerkez.
Italy full-back Andrea Cambiaso has emerged as an option for Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United as Juventus could make the 26-year-old available for transfer this summer. (Teamtalk)
All things considered I donāt think Kerkaz is close to our biggest issue in the market frankly. Iād like to see if there is a CB who is vers.
Basically Joe Gomez without legs made of biscuits. (Iām assuming you meant that rather than the dating terminology?)
Yeah, there were also links a week or two ago to a left back in Germany (at Stuttgart perhaps?) Which seemed equally odd.
Given the amount work we have to do this summer, I donāt really understand why weād be looking for a left back. Iām not Tsimikasās biggest fan, but heās shown he can be decent cover.
Who was that? Maybe Ramon Hendriks?
The thing that makes Cambiaso attractive on the market is that heās not only a LB, heās one of those rare players who can cover both sides.
Is he any good, though?
Genuine question as never heard of him before.
I think it was David Raum that I saw being mentioned. Iād never heard of him before and assumed there was nothing in the story.
Raum is at Leipzig. Club captain there. And yeah I saw some links (not sure how reliable) that some PL sides are looking at him.
He is the definition of mediocrity from the very little Iāve seen from him.
Fit right in then
Despite what others might think, I think Bowen would be a good acquisition albeit largely a versatile squad player. Would be particularly useful with Etike out and Isak awaiting his next injury.
Three Premier League clubs - Liverpool, Newcastle, and Everton - are targeting England forward Jarrod Bowen, 29, even if West Ham avoid relegation. (Mail)
Thereās also these two about whom I know nothing but who would be a lot cheaper than other options, i.e. Diomande.
Liverpool are interested in Monacoās 24-year-old right winger Maghnes Akliouche, with the France international valued around ā¬50m (Ā£43m). His team-mate Lamine Camara is also on Liverpoolās radar, but they may face competition from Newcastle for the 22-year-old Senegal midfielder. (LāEquipe, in French ā subscription required)
And finally, a throwaway item from Caught Offside.
Sporting and Portugal midfielder Francisco Trincao, 26, is attracting attention from Liverpool and Chelsea. (Caught Offside)
I see we are also being linked, by dubious sources, with Sunderlandās Enzo le Fee.

I donāt see Bowen being versatile at all. I know there are wingers who can do a job up front and I know Bowen did that at times for West Ham. But I donāt think heās the type who would do it for Liverpool at the top level (or where we want to return). Some others would.
Yeah. We already have a winger whoās a bad dribbler and a good shooter. We need a creator, not another one waiting for the ball.
I actually wouldnāt be averse to bringing in Bowen, as a squad option backing up whoever we bring in to replace Mo. In all likelihood weāre going to need to bring in two players there, and a solid, experienced guy with good fitness and goal record would be fine with me.
I think the difficulty with Bowen may be price. Given he is already 29 and West Ham probably donāt have too many saleable assets, they may ask too much for him.
Akliouche, Camara and Trincao have all been the subject of videos by Anfield Index and others recently so I donāt know where those links originate from or whether they have any substance behind them. Someone on Anfield Index said last month that Hughes had wanted to sign Camara before but Arne wasnāt in favour. I donāt know when that was though (if at all true).
Le Fee was linked a couple of months ago also.
I said we should have signed Le Fee when he was at Lorient.
