Gordon:
Rashford had some better seasons at United than this last one at Barca. Inconsistent, yes, but he had seasons with 20-30 goals. And at the end of the day, it’s pointless to compare that too much with who’s in the right or wrong to chase Gordon.

Realistically we have to sell to buy enough players for all our deficiencies.
Also realistically, we´d going to have some positions where we are a bit light on cover.
I think we may have to or should sell Gakpo to finance the quality of player we need to bring in. A lot of work to do this summer. We´ll have to rely on youth for a year to plug the gaps perhaps or raid the bargain bins. But either way, Gakpo isn´t really good enough so is it worth keeping such high wages as mediocre cover?
Wishing to sell Gakpo and actually selling him for a price the club would be content with can be two very different scenarios. I’m not saying Gakpo couldn’t attract some interest, but a lot of it depends on the market and if another top club is ready to go big for him this summer. Not easy. I think he’s staying for now, but might have more competition for the position(s) he covers. Surely needs to improve on this season, everyone’s aware of that.
